My work is inspired by the subtle emotion that can live inside a simple subject. I’m drawn to negative space, movement, color, and the way paint can suggest more than it explicitly describes. My studio practice is rooted in Idaho, and my work is available both online and through select local stockists.
I studied Fine Arts at Boise State University, with an emphasis in ceramics. While my formal training began in three-dimensional work, my practice eventually shifted toward painting, where I found more freedom to explore intuition, restraint, and mark-making. My process often begins loose and instinctive, then gradually resolves into something quieter and more intentional.
